1. Data SeekCal accesses

When you connect Google Calendar, SeekCal requests your Google identity email, your calendar list, free/busy information, and permission to view and edit calendar events. Event information can include titles, descriptions, timing, recurrence, attendees, locations, and conferencing details.

SeekCal uses this information to show your schedule, synchronize selected calendars, prevent double bookings, create or update appointments, and add Google Meet conferencing when you select it. Google data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train general-purpose AI models.

2. Connect and consent

  1. Sign in to SeekCal and open Integrations.
  2. Select Connect Google Calendar.
  3. Review each in-product disclosure and check each consent box.
  4. Select Continue to Google, choose your Google account, review Google’s permission screen, and approve only if you agree.

SeekCal records the disclosure version, permissions, and time of your consent. Reconnecting requires you to review the disclosures again.

3. Choose calendars

After connecting, open Integrations → Calendars to synchronize. Select only the calendars you want SeekCal to synchronize and save your selection. Clearing a calendar stops new synchronization and removes that calendar from conflict calculations after the saved selection is applied.

SeekCal displays whether Google reports a calendar as read-only or read/write. SeekCal writes events only where your Google account has sufficient access.

4. Automation authorization

Calendar actions requested by the workspace owner may run with recorded authorization from that owner, without a second approval from the therapist. Authorization is tied to the exact action and recorded in the activity history. It does not grant new Google permissions or reconnect a disconnected account.

Other automated requests require approval from the affected calendar users under Integrations → Automation approvals. Approvals apply to one exact action, expire after 15 minutes, and can be used once. Agents cannot authorize their own requests through the shared connection.

5. Disconnect Google

  1. Sign in and open Integrations.
  2. Under Google Calendar, select Disconnect and confirm.
  3. SeekCal revokes the Google connection, deletes stored OAuth credentials, revokes the active SeekCal consent record, and removes the connected Google calendars and their imported events from SeekCal.

You can also revoke SeekCal from Google Account third-party connections. Revoking there stops future access, but return to SeekCal and use Disconnect to remove the imported copy from SeekCal.

6. Delete, access, or export data

Disconnecting removes the connected Google credentials, imported calendars, and imported Google events from the live SeekCal workspace. Events that SeekCal previously wrote to Google remain in Google Calendar unless you delete them in Google.

To request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of other personal or synchronized information, email contact@seekarizona.org from your SeekCal account email. Include your workspace name and the Google account email involved. We may verify identity and workspace authority before acting.

7. What may remain

Security logs, consent history, audit records, delivery evidence, backups, and records required for legal or contractual obligations may remain for a limited period as described in the Privacy Policy. Stored Google OAuth credentials and the live imported calendar copy are removed on disconnect. A Google-side copy remains subject to your Google Account and Google’s retention controls.
